Our daytime lives are dependant on those who work while we sleep, rest or play. This is my attempt, using a mix up of debris from a protest and the conventions of the gallery world, to create a ‘group’ portrait of some nightworkers.
I wrote two blogs for this exhibition. Interesting to compare the two, kind of duelling blogs? One for ANpublications explains the method and thought behind the event. The other blog was about being asked to be artist in residence at Fabrica in Brighton whilst the gallery and any publicity focus was brimming over with a Martin Parr photographic exhibition.
