Emptier roads means different geographies, 24hr café’s a different diet, less background noise brings heightened aural awareness, night time radio an appreciation of CD length pieces of music, wrecked immune systems longer lasting colds, the weather isn’t the same either. Night isn’t the opposite of Day, it’s a whole different concept. Slightly better pay and longer hours maybe, but ones hidden away from view of the majority.
